Mayfran Introduces HPF

 

Mayfran introduces a new Hydrostatic Paper Filter (HPF) developed for use on high performance metal cutting and finishing machines.

 

The HPF was designed on the Mayfran Modular Filter Platform. It combines the highest level in chip removal technology with the most effective coolant filtration capabilities to maximize machine tool productivity. This fully automatic coolant system is a robust, deep bed type filter, utilizing a unique side sealing method for the prevention of chip and particulate bypass. The fully automatic HPF design provides a clean and continuous supply of coolant to the machine tool without any downtime.

 

The HPF product range can process 100 to 1000 liters per minute of water-based emulsions or neat oils, containing both metallic and non-metallic particles. The versatility of the media selection (filter paper) allows for a variety of possible filtration levels, delivering optimum filtration results. The interchangeability and flexibility of the media type assures the right degree of filtration for any given machining center when changing to a new part, process or material.

 

The compact-design of the HPF conserves and minimizes expensive floor space and can be configured to meet any machining requirements with standard modular options. Additionally, the filter’s superior performance keeps operational cost to a minimum by providing higher machine up time, higher part quality, and better tool life.
