Mayfran acquires U.K. firm and establishes new comptence centre for vacuum swarf handling technologies
Mayfran International, global manufacturer of engineered factory automation systems and components, has expanded its product and service capabilities with the acquisition of Bolton, England based Hardman Maintenance Engineering Ltd. The firm will be point of the Mayfran Group’s new competence centre for vacuum swarf handling technology. Located at Bury near Manchester, the new facility will be opened 15 April 2008.The acquisition provides Mayfran International with both new product capabilities and better resources to service its customers in the United Kingdom.
Hardman Maintenance Engineering Ltd has particular product expertise in the design and deployment of vacuum swarf handling systems, especially for machining operations in aerospace environments.
The firm will be integrated with the existing Mayfran operations in the
U.K., where the new member now acts as competence centre ‘vacuum swarf handling technology’ for the entire group.
Base of the Mayfran UK Ltd is Bury near Manchester. The new established competence centre’s facility will be opened 15 April 2008.
